Electrical Safety Repairs (Arc Flash Mitigation)

Location: 
Esquimalt Graving Dock, Victoria, BC

Work Description: 
Work under this Contract comprises of the installation of
electrical equipment at the Esquimalt Graving Dock in Victoria,
BC. It covers the supply and installation of digital protection
relays and current transformers to replace existing overcurrent
protection devices, the supply and installation of replacement
molded case and air circuit breakers in existing switchboards,
commissioning and testing of all equipment installed, and
demonstration and training to personnel.

Site Visit: 
There is a mandatory site visit for prospective bidders on
Friday, September 4th, 2015 at 10:00 am PST at the Esquimalt
Graving Dock. Interested Bidders are to meet at the Public Works
and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Operations Centre,
Building NS32, Esquimalt Graving Dock, located at 825 Admirals
Road, Victoria, BC.

The front gate commissionaire will only allow access to the site
if previous visitor information is provided and names appear
onthe visitor list.

Bidders are reminded that the Esquimalt Graving Dock is a heavy
industrial site and WCB approved hard hats and safety footwear
must be worn for the mandatory site visit.

Bidders are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.

September 3rd, 2015, if you will be attending the conference and
site visit.

Security Requirement:
There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid
Security Clearance as indicated in section SC01 of the
Supplementary Conditions. Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March
31st, 2016.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between 
$400,000 to $450,000.
