Rehabilitation of Fire Suppression System for Store House

Location: 
Historic Site in Fort Langley, BC

Work Description: 
The Work to be performed includes, but not limited to the following at the Historic Site in Fort Langley, BC:

-Design, supply and install dry sprinkler fire protection systems for Store House located in the Historic Site
-Move the valuable and irreplaceable contents in Store House. The remaining valuable and irreplaceable contents remaining in place during the 
course of construction shall be provided with appropriate protection by 
the Contractor against construction damage. Contractorto coordinate 
with the Department Representative prior to any movement of existing contents.
-Coordinate with Heritage Consultant for locations and methods of installations of seismic restraints.
-Provide power to air compressor and fire alarm connections
-Provide fire alarm connections and fire alarm necessary for sprinkler fire protection systems
-Commission and test the sprinkler fire protection system and related items

Site Visit: 
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the siteprior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

A site visit is scheduled on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10:00 am PDST,
at the Visitor Centre adjacent to the parking lot at the Fort Langley Historic Site in BC.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete within twelve (12) weeks of Contract award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to 
cost between $160,000 to $180,000.
