    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Pacific Daylight Time).
    
    Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.

    Work Description:
    Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    
    Complete testing, balancing, start-up and commissioning of the ventilation system in the tunnel and sump room underneath the facility. The works to be performed in an environment which contains building hazardous materials.  Provide for work including removal of hazardous materials in accordance with requirements.
    
    Optional Site Visit: 
    There will be an optional site visit on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM PDST. Interested bidders are to meet and sign in at the PSPC site office for Kent Institution located at 4732 Cemetery Rd, Agassiz, BC.
    
    No electronic devices, such as cell phones, tablets and computers will be permitted inside the facility.
    
    A maximum of two (2) representatives per Bidder will be permitted to attend the site. Bidders attending the site visit will be required to show one (1) piece government issued ID that includes a photo and signature.
    
    COVID Protocols:
    Bidders must fill out the attached Covid-19 Screening Questions prior to entering the Institution. Bidders must present the completed form at the principle entrance.
    
    Medical grade masks must be worn at all times while inside the Institution. Masks are available outside of the principle entrance along with hand sanitizer, if required.
    
    Physical distancing must be maintained at all times.
    
    Depending on the number of people attending the site visit, bidders may be required to break into small groups before entering the institutions.
    
    Contractors are to bring their own Drawings and Specifications.
    
    Bidders are responsible for familiarizing themselves and complying with public health protocols in effect for COVID19, including travel restrictions. 
    
    Bidders are responsible for making and paying for their own travel arrangements.
    
    
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 20 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 to $500,000.
