TITLE:  
96 Beds Living Unit Domestic Hot Water Retrofit

LOCATION: 
Kent Institution, Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), Agassiz, British Columbia

WORK DESCRIPTION: 
The work to be done under this Contract consists of, but is not limited to the following activities:
- Improvements to Domestic Hot Water Heating Capacity 
- Addition of a pump set to facilitate heating of the domestic water 
- Replacement of domestic water recirculation pumps
- Separation of a Shower Riser from Washroom Riser
- Replacement of the fan coils serving the Operations Centre, and provision of direct expansion refrigerant based independent cooling system for those zones
- Provision of an air cooled chiller, including roof curbs and supports
- Provision of the associated chilled water pumps and controls
- Removal of redundant piping and equipment 
- Relocation of domestic water expansion tank, and the hot water side stream filter and pot-feeder.
- Adjustment to existing controls and Building Automation System
- Removal and dispose of hazardous building materials 

SITE VISIT:
The site visit for this requirement is optional.  Interested bidders are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Monday September 10, 2018 at 10:00am PDT at the Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Site Office located at 4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, British Columbia, V0M 1A0.

Attendees are to meet the PWGSC representative on site.

COMPLETION DATE:
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 48 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

VALUE OF PROJECT:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $950,000.00 and $1,130,000.00.
