Title:  Generator Replacement

Location: Waneta Port of Entry, BC

Work Description:

Work under this Contract is to take place at Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Waneta, Kootenay, B.C. 

Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items:

1) Replace the emergency power generator and transfer switch.
2) Revise the power distribution.  Add disconnect switch and breakers.  Add arc flash labels.
3) Provide commissionaire services.
4) Excavation and backfill.
5) Removal of existing outdoor metal shed.
6) Repair existing pavement, wall and asphalt.

Mandatory Site Visit:

There will be a site visit on August 27, 2018 at 11 am local time.  Interested bidders are to meet at Waneta Border Crossing, located at 10290 Highway 22A in Salmo, BC, inside the traffic building.
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.

Please check in with the Shift Superintendent and wait for PSPC Maintenance Person to be escorted around the building. Please ensure you have ID with you in case requested by CBSA.

Pictures can be obtained as long as they do not capture any travelers, vehicles and sensitive information. 

Delivery Date:

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within sixteen (16) weeks after Contract award.

Value of Project:

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $200,000.00 and $250,000.00.
