Neighbouring or sensitive sites restrictions. Site work to be conducted concurrently. - Treatment of Contaminated Water, either onsite or offsite, as required - Treatment of Contaminated Soil, specifically Petroleum Hydrocarbons Treatment means destruction or reduction of concentrations as described in Contract. Treatment is a requirement of the Contract, and alternatives (eg. direct disposal without treatment) even if compliant with regulations, are not allowed under the Contract- . - Transport and stockpile of treated soil. Mandatory Indigenous Benefits Plan: Canada has worked successfully in the past to leverage training opportunities, employment and resource building for Indigenous peoples and continues working collaboratively with Indigenous communities on various projects. Canada is committed to reconciliation and meaningful engagement with Indigenous Peoples. This invitation to tender requires bidders to include a Mandatory Indigenous Benefits Plan to deliver socio-economic opportunities for the Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Firms of the Daylu Dena Council and the Fort Nelson First Nation throughout the duration of the remediation project. Bidders must submit a compliant bid that meets all the mandatory requirements which includes the mandatory Indigenous Benefits Plan. Failure to meet all the mandatory requirements will disqualify a bid from further consideration OPTIONAL Site Visit: Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. There will be a site visit on Wednesday, July 31 2019. Interested bidders are to meet at Iron Creek Maintenance Camp @ 9:00 am and JJJ pit (just south of Fireside Maintenance Camp) @ 10:30 am. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and the site works is to be completed by October 1, 2019. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $ 500,001.00 and $ 1,000,000.00 Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. This procurement office provides procurement services to the public in English. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
