    Summary 
    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), is seeking to construct a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and decommission the existing WWTP for the Kent and Mountain Institutions in Agassiz, BC.
    
    The project site for the new treatment facilities is to be located adjacent and southwest to the existing WWTP situated between the Kent and Mountain Institutions.
    
    This procurement will be conducted in two distinct phases. Phase One - Request for Qualification (RFQ) and, Phase Two - Request for Proposal (RFP).
    
    Interested suppliers are required to respond to this RFQ. Only those Respondents considered by PWGSC to meet the qualification requirements as defined in this RFQ will be invited to submit competitive Bids for this work during the Request for Proposal phase.
    
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on March 9, 2022 at 10AM local time. Interested bidders are to meet at PSPC site office and sign-in prior to site visit starting.  Please see attached photo showing recommended approach to the PSPC site office (in blue rectangle) and note to stay away from the perimeter road, which is a restricted area. 
    
    Interested bidders are recommended to register with the Contracting Authority, Isabell Park at ji-yonisabell.park@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca by proving the names and the contact details.  Registration should be completed no later than 48 hours prior to the site visit.
    
    Vaccine passport is required and rapid COVID test may be administered, if necessary.
    
    Firms intending to submit proposals on this project should obtain documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.  Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
