    Work Description: 
    Work to be performed under this Contract comprises of cladding, window and door replacement at 421 2nd Avenue Queen Charlotte, BC.
    Work includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    
    1. Removal and disposal of the existing aluminum wall cladding and associated metal trims / flashings 
    2. Installation of new weather barrier, rain screen wood strapping and new cementitious cladding. 
    3. Removal of the existing windows and doors for new flashings and opening protection. 
    4. Installation of new windows, doors, and flashings. 
    5. Installation of new self-adhesive membrane.
    
    Site Visit: 
    There is NO scheduled site visit.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within eighteen (18) weeks after contract award notification.

    Value of Project: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
    $100,001.00 and $500,000.00

    Note to Tenderers:
    
    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday to Fridays, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Pacific Daylight Time). 
    
    Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.
