    Work Description:
    Work under this Contract general includes, but is not limited to, the following services.
    
    Mandatory Work Items
    
    1.  The mandatory work of this contract comprises of the construction of a new 2
    story structure containing a workshop and multipurpose room. 
    
    Optional Work Items
    
    1.  Supply and installation of complete Fire Detection and Alarm System
    2.  Supply and installation of complete Fire Suppression System
    
    Optional Site Visit:
    
    There will be an optional site visit on Tuesday October 5th at 1:00pm.
    1. Interested Bidders are to meet at the front gate to the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Station Kitsilano, address 1661 Whyte Ave, Vancouver, BC. Contractors are responsible for their own parking, there are several pay parking lots out front of the station.  
    
    2. One (1) representative per bidder will be permitted to examine the site. Contractors attending the site visit may be required to show one (1) piece of government issued ID, such as a Driver’s License. 
    
    3. Instructions: Bidders are reminded that the CCG Station Kitsilano is an active site so safety footwear  and hi-vis vests must be worn for the site visit.
    
    4. COVID Protocol: Masks must be brought to the site visit and are required to be worn when a distance of 2 meters cannot be maintained between people. Bidder’s representative must complete COVID-19 pre-screening form and submit it to the Contracting Authority, Davis Kyle at Davis.Kyle@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca no later than 9am PDST Tuesday October 5th.  
    Interested bidders must complete COVID-19 form, which will be used to create Commissionaire’s visitors list. 
    
    COVID-19 pre-screening form cannot be filled out at site.  Bidders who do not follow the above protocol and show up for the site visit unannounced will be denied entry, without exception. 
    
    5. Bidders are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by January 31, 2022.
    
    Value of Project:
    
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $100,001 to $500,000.
