The Project is a registered LEED-BD+C project with the certification level target: Silver. Work will progress in phases to accommodate the use of the premises to allow continuous operation of the facility with minimal shut down and impact to operations. This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid. Optional Site Visit: There will be an optional site visit on December 19, 2014 at 13:00 CST. Interested bidders are to meet at the main reception of the Administration Building of the SPARC facility, Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Bidders must sign in and maybe requested to provide photo identification. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Security Related Requirements: Prior to award of a Contract, the Bidder must hold a valid Security Clearance as indicated in section SC01 of the Supplementary Conditions. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. Mandatory Security Requirement prior to contract award: The Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), prior to award. Verifications will be made through CISD to confirm the security clearance status of the Bidder. Failure to comply with this mandatory requirement will render the bid non-compliant and it will be given no further consideration. For any enquiries concerning the project security requirement, during the bidding period, the Bidder must follow the instructions detailed in SI03 of the solicitation.
