    Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, Heritage Building Recapitalization
    
    Work under this Contract will include, but is not limited to, the following at the Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, St. Andrews, Manitoba: selective demolition of existing construction; removal, storage, and re-installation of historical elements and materials; repair of deteriorated structural elements; refurbishment of identified existing architectural elements; replacement of the lift in the Big House; fire protection upgrading; mechanical and electrical work; commissioning; as more fully described in the Drawings and Specification. The buildings within the scope of the Work are the Big House, the Men’s House, and the Furloft.
    
    Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000.
    
    SECOND OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    Therewill be a second site visit on October 26, 2016 at 9:00 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the Visitor Centre entrance, Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site of Canada, 5925 Highway 9, St. Andrews, Manitoba. Interested bidders must sign in and provide photo identification.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, from the Government of Canada web site, and are to ensure they
    are addressed in the submitted bid. 
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
