    NOTICE:
    
    Description:
    To supply material and labour to perform the conversion of one (1) Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) survey launch trademark Lifetimer, “Pleasure Serie - 2700” model to a safely unmanned Autonomous Hydrographic Survey Launch (AHSL) while retaining regular manned operations. After the conversion, the CHS launch will be able to operate in regular manned mode as it does now or autonomously (unmanned). The working environment of this survey launch is for ports and inshore hydrographic operations.
    
    The primary role of these launchwill be the support of the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) survey operations in Canada’s three ocean coastal as well as internal and open waters. These vessels could be based in Burlington (Ontario), Mont Joli (Quebec), Dartmouth (Nova Scotia), and Sydney (British Columbia).
    
    
    Optional Work:
    Conversion of 1 to 4 additional Lifetimer launches or other launches with similar specifications could be considered. These vessels could be based in Burlington (Ontario), Mont Joli (Quebec), Dartmouth (NovaScotia), and Sidney (British Columbia).
    
    Based on the pricing, the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) reserves the right to choose the number of conversion of AHSL.
    
    Bidder’s Conference / Vessel’s Viewing
    Due to the absence of attendees (bidders), the Bidder’s Conference / Vessel’s Viewing was canceled.
    
    Delivery:
    For the first conversion, the Work must commence and be completed as follows:
    - Design and prefabrication: From Contract award to Start of Onboard Installation Work.
    - Start of Onboard Installation Work: February 27th, 2017.
    - End of Onboard Installation Work: March 27th, 2017 or four (4) weeks after start of Work. (At the earlier date.)
    - Commissioning, Trials and acceptance: To be completed no later than June 17th 2017.
    
    For the other optional 1 to 4 AHSL, in whole or in part, as per the Technical Statement of Requirement, no later than March 17, 2020.
