Description To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.)Des Groseilliers, during the summer layout at Queen Wharf of the Port of Quebec, Quebec (QC), in accordance with the Technical Specifications entitled ; ’ F3017-16IN520 9200 HVAC ENv4 ’ and all related drawings and other technical documents. BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL): A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be convened on board vessel CCGS Des Groseilliers at 9:30 am, December 15th, 2016. The ship will be at 101 Champlain Blvd, Quebec. An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00am, December 13th, 2016. VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL): A site visit of the CCGS Des Groseilliers will be held immediately after the bidders’ conference. Particulars of the vessel: Name: CCGS Des Groseilliers Principal Dimensions: Length overall: 98.2 meters Breadth moulded: 20.7 meters Maximum draught: 7.4 meters Load displacement: 8 415 English Tons Minimum draft, forward: 5.6 meters Minimum draft, stern: 6.4 meters Installation work is to commence and to be completed during the Work Period as follows: NGCC Des Groseilliers: Start of work: November 1st 2017 End of work: June 1st, 2018 NGCC Amundsen: Start of work: 16 weeks after order of the option End of work: 8 weeks after start of work For each Vessel, a minimum of two periods of 5 weeks each, will be allocate to allow the Contractors to complete the Work. The Bidder agrees through submission of its response to the bid solicitation that the above time frame provides an adequate period to perform the subject work and absorb a reasonable amount of unscheduled work; and further, that they have sufficient material and human resources allocated or available to complete the subject work and a reasonable amount of unscheduled work within the Work period.
