    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    Description
    
    To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) Pierre Radisson’s Barge. The contractor shall provide, for the duration of the work, a heated interior space to perform all of the work, in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications entitled ; ‘’ Restoration Barge #6 ‘’ and all related drawings and other technical documents.
    
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
    A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held at 1550, avenue d'Estimauville 6th floor, Québec (Québec) G1J 0C7, Thursday, 22nd December 2016 at 09:00 a.m. EST.  
    
    An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, Monday, 19th December 2016.
    
    VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):
    If required, a visit of CCGS Pierre Radisson’s Barge #6 will be held immediately after the bidders’ conference, Thursday, 22nd December 2016 at the Port of Québec Anse-au-Foulon sector, section 103.

    Work is to commence and be completed as follows:
    
    Start of Work:
    January, 30th 2017 or as per barge’s availability. (At the earlier date)

    March 24th 2017 or maximum 8 weeks after barge’s availability.
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of theWorld Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter 10 Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
