    NOTICE
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy. 
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    The requirement is:
    a)  To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) Leim, during the Winter layout at 15 rue Prince, Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, J3P 4J4, in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Requirement attached as Annex A. 
    b)  To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in paragraph a) above.

    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL)
    A bidders' conference will be held at the CCG Base located at 15 Rue du Prince, Sorel-Tracy, QC J3P 4J4, on Thursday November 28, 2019, at 10:00am.
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide to the Contracting Authority, by email to Gabriel.Piras@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending no later than November 27, 2019, at 10:00am. Without confirmation, the bidders’ conference will be cancelled.
    
    VIEWING - VESSEL (OPTIONAL)
    Following the bidders' conference, a site visit will be held aboard the vessel.
    Participants must provide: helmet, safety vest and safety boots.

    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter 10 Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
