    Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 
    
    Suppliers are required to submit bids by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
    
    Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    The requirement is:
    a)To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ship CCGS (replacement of the fire suppression system of the vessel Constable Carrière as well of the inspection of piping on the vessels A. Leblanc et Caporal Kaeble), located at 15 rue Prince, Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, J3P 4J4, in accordance with the Technical Specifications attached as Annex A and all related drawings.
    
    b)To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in paragraph a) above.
