    BID RECEIVING - IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    
    Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 
    
    Suppliers are required to submit bids by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
    
    Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

    STATEMENT OF WORK :
    The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for engineering services ABS approved for the production of certified ABS plan for the fabrication and installation of two (2) removable buoy deck chain stoppers for the ship CCGS Martha L. Black, in accordance with the statement of work (SOW) at Annex A, and the Drawing plans included as attachments.
    
    Once the plans have been approved by the DFO-CCG, the manufacture of two (2) chain stoppers will begin and delivery will be made to the Depot 18 of the CCG, 101 Champlain Boulevard, Quebec City, QC, no later than August 30, 2021.
    Canadian Content: The requirement is limited to Canadian services.
    
    This Public Works and Government Services Canada office provides acquisition services to the public in both official languages.
    
    Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT - VESSEL
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site of the vessel.
    Given current concerns regarding COVID-19 and to ensure social distancing, only one Bidder at a time will be allowed to visit the site. Arrangements have been made for scheduled, one-hour site visits to occur between 8:00AM and 4:00PM on Wednesday June 9, 2021 at:
