    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS

    responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the

    nor for notification services offered by a third party.
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    
    Provide for the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development
    Canada (AANDC), as and when required, skilled workers,
    expertise, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, parts
    and all other supplies or knowledge required to carry out the
    work in order to maintain and repair the Lac Rapide community's
    electricity distribution networks. The networks are the
    4160/2400V 3P networks. 
    
    STANDING OFFER RESERVED FOR ABORIGINAL BUSINESSES
    
    This standing offer is reserved for Aboriginal businesses
    pursuant to the federal government Set-Aside Program for
    Aboriginal Business.
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    1)	This contract is reserved for Aboriginal businesses pursuant
    to the federal government Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal
    Business. Bidders must complete and sign the certification
    entitled "Certification Requirements for the Set-Aside Program
    for Aboriginal Business" contained in Schedule C. Failure to
    provide the duly completed certification along with the bid will
    render the bid non-responsive. 
    
    2)	At the closing of bids, the Offeror must demonstrate holding
    a valid pertinent license from the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec
    for the required type of work, in the following category as a
    whole: 1.7 Contractor - telecommunications, transmission,
    transformation and distribution of electric power
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD
    -CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS - CONSENT T0 A CRIMINAL RECORD
    VERIFICATION (if needed):
    
    Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a
    complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
    directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been
    received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada
    will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide
    the information. Failure to comply will render the bid
    non-responsive.
    
    Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
    completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
    Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
    aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide
    such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result
    in the bid being declared non-responsive.
    
    PERIOD OF WORK
    The period for making call-ups and providing services against
    the Standing Offer is from December 1, 2015 to November 30,
    2016, with two (2) options of one year each (from December 1,
    2016 to November 30, 2017, from December 1, 2017 to November 30,
    2018).
