Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE INSTRUCTOR W0113-13CS39/A Brewster, Shannon Telephone No. - (905) 615-2028 Fax No. - (905) 615-2060 E-mail - shannon.brewster@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Health Services Training Centre, has a requirement for the provision of services, on an "as and when requested' basis, to teach subjects of Occupational Health Legislation, occupational health equipment, occupational health inspections and occupational health surveys. The Contractor must provide a resource(s) who will produce and deliver PMed QL6A training courses to approximately 9 to 12 students for a duration of 63 days. The resource will be responsible for converting the 13 EOs into a viable, logical schedule of progressive lessons, practices, activities, reviews and testing. The resource(s) will also be responsible for supervising all practices, activities, reviews and testing. A contract will be awarded to one Contractor. The contract period will be for 1 year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend the contract period for up to 3 additional 1 year periods. The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Some of the mandatory evaluation criteria are listed below. Please refer to the RFP, Annex C - Bid Evaluation Criteria for the complete list of mandatory evaluation criteria. 1) The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resourse has a minimum of two (2) years experience working* in the Occupational Health and Safety Field. *Working could include, but not limited to, developing protocols, procedures/tools for investigations in the area of occupational health, employing various evaluation and sampling methodologies in the assessment of compliance or potentially health hazardous conditions, advising workers and management of the existence of any potential or actual occupational health dangers in the workplace, or audit overall performance and compliance with Legislative requirements, policies, programs, and procedures. 2) The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has successfully completed graduate training within the Occupational Health and Safety Field from a recognized educational institution or the equivalent as established by a recognized Canadian academic credentials assessment service*, if obtained outside Canada. *The list of recognized organizations can be found under the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials website, at the following address: http://www.cicic.ca/. **Must provide a copy of your Diploma with the proposal. 3) The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has accumulated a minimum of 150 hours of post-secondary class instruction within the past two (2) years as of bid closing. A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for a contract award. The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.
