For the supply, and delivery of Setaflash™ Flash Point Testers Model # 82000-2 for the Department of National Defence, Trenton, ON.

The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) has a well-established Fluids Analysis program which is a capability provided nationally to the RCAF by Aerospace Telecommunications and Engineering Support Squadron (ATESS) and requires five (5) new Automated Setaflash™ Small Scale Flash Point Testers, Model# 82000-2.

This equipment is used on the CT114, CF188, and CC115 aircraft fleets and is necessary to test the flashpoint of their aircraft fluids thereby determining if fuel contamination is present.
The Setaflash™ testers must be fully compatible and integrate with RCAF current array of existing equipment that is used across Canada. Use of the same product will eliminate the need to purchase 15 new testers for each of the labs across Canada and the requirement to provide user training to meet RCAF support mandate. We can replace the unserviceable items as required over an extended period of time that will ensure we can continue to provide vital support.
The testers must cover a range of flash points from ambient +5 to 300ºC. The flash point testers must include all required accessories for turn-key operation. The testers provided must follow ASTM International (https://www.astm.org/) standard methods for closed-cup flash point analysis as specified therein.

    Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
