ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

This amends the closing date of the NPP to 2 June 2014

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.

This Solicitation No. EQ447-141642/A is for the provision of
professional and technical services for Environmental Site
Assessments, Risk Assessments and Site Remediation/Risk
Management Measures in Ontario Region for Public Works &
Government Services Canada.  

It is anticipated that two (2) Regional Individual Standing
Offers for a combined estimated total of $1,500,000.00 (GST
extra) for the two year period will be issued.

The period of the RISOs is from date of issue to 31 March 2016
with the right to request two additional one year extension
periods.

This procurement has been set aside under the federal
government's Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business (SPAB).
In order to be considered, firms must certify that they qualify
as an Aboriginal business as defined in the SPAB and that they
will comply with all requirements of the SPAB.

There is another very similar solicitation - Solicitation No.
EQ447-141528/A.  That solicitation is open to all potential
suppliers, including Aboriginal businesses.

PWGSC requires professional and technical services for various
types of environmental projects in Ontario region.  It is
anticipated that two Regional Individual Standing Offers (RISOs)
will be issued  to Aboriginal businesses.


Before issuance of a standing offer,  the following conditions
must be met:

1.     	The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the
performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid
Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian
In-dustrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and
Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

2.	The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to
sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY
STATUS, granted or approved by  CISD/PWGSC.

3.  	Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to
be awarded  without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.

4.  	The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of
the:

	(a) Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if
applicable).

	(b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).

Aboriginal bidders may also chose to submit offer(s) under
Solicitation No. EQ447-141528/A.  A separate and complete offer
is required for each package submitted in response to that
solicitation.  Clearly indicate the Solicitation Number and the
package for which you wish to be considered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
