    This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in English.
    
    Requirement: WHITEHORSE CADET TRAINING CENTRE - BIKE ACTIVITIES
    
    Department of National Defence (DND), Whitehorse Cadet Training Centre (WCTC), Boyle Barracks has a requirement for instructors to conduct and supervise mountain bike training, one two-day trip and three five-day overnight trips in the Yukon Territory.  All activities will occur between July 10th, 201 and August 18th, 2018.  Bidder must meet all the mandatory technical criteria listed in Annex D.
    
    Mandatory Technical Criteria:
    
    -  Bidder must have experience performing services similar to what is contained in the Statement of Work in Annex A.  Experience must be demonstrated by providing details of at least two (2) projects within the last five (5) years of similar size, scope and complexity to the requirement described in the Statement of Work.
    
    -  All instructors must have Vulnerable Sector Screening (working with youth aged 12-18 years), Police Records Check and be familiar with DND publication Adventure Training Safety Orders (A-CR-CCP-951/PT-002).
    
    - All instructors must have experience and qualifications from a recognized organization in mountain biking or outdoor guiding.  Those that are not certified may be considered pending experience.  Recognized organizations include CANBIKE, Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, International Mountain Bike Guides Association of Canada, Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association, or a post-secondary institution.
    
    - All instructors for activities (Section 10), Activities A-G) must be as a minimum (proof of compliance must be provided prior to contract award:
      • Currently and validly certified in Standard First Aid;
      • Experienced in instructing groups, preferably youth groups;
      • Experienced in the field  repair and maintenance of bikes; and
      • Skilled in biking to an intermediate level.
    
    - Instructors for the five-day trips (Section 10, Activities H-J) must be as a minimum (proof of compliance must be provided prior to contract award:
      • Currently and validly certified in Wilderness First Responder;
      • Thoroughly familiar with the route;
      • Experienced in acting as a leader or assistant leader on similar     routes;
      • Experienced in the field repair and maintenance of bikes; and
      • Skilled in biking to an intermediate level.
    
    The period of the Contract is one year from contract award date.  The work is to be performed is to be performed during the period of July 10, 2018 to August 18, 2018, inclusive.
    
    There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.
    
    This procurement is subject to Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
