This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number G9292-216698/A dated 2021-02-26 with a closing of 2021-03-15 at 14:00 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) has a requirement for 258 thermal receipt printers which must be delivered on or before May 17th, 2021 to multiple destinations across Canada which are identified in Annex “D” - Delivery Locations. Due to this tight deadline, ESDC is only able to accept printers that have previously tested and approved for use. These printers are the Ithaca iTherm 9000 and the the Epson TM T88VI.
If you wish to propose a different printer, ESDC is going through a standardization exercise in the Request for Standing Offers G9292-216698/C and estimates a purchase of 1680 additional printers over the duration of the Standing Offer Period for any printer that meets the mandatory specifications on an “as and when requested” basis. Actual usage may vary.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the Canadian-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), the Canada-UK Trade Continuity Agreement (Canada-UK TCA), the World-Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA) and the Bilateral Free Trade Agreements with Canada-Chile, Canada-Columbia, Canada-Honduras, Canada-Korea, Canada-Panama, Canada-Peru and Canada-Ukraine.
