Trade Agreement: LCSA/AIT Tendering Procedures: If 2+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: CFSSAR Canopy Handling Course W0133-17K614/A Large, Kathy Telephone No. - (250) 216-4455 kathy.large@pwgsc.gc.ca The Department of National Defence - Canadian Forces School of Search and Rescue (CFSSAR) is seeking highly qualified subject matter experts (SMEs) to teach advanced canopy handling techniques in support of Search and Rescue Technician (SAR Tech) occupational training to ab-initio Restricted Team Members (RTM). Upon commencement, students will have completed a minimum of 70 static line/free fall jumps into open field and simulated/actual confined areas with and without equipment (CSPA SOLO and possible A-Cop). Location Training is conducted for 14 students (Minimum: 10 Maximum: 20 Optimal: 14) over 4 training days in the June timeframe staged out of CFSSAR’s Jarvis Lake Training facility located 28 KM north of Hinton, AB. Classroom lectures will be delivered at the Jarvis Lake facility and practical jumps will be dispatched from the Hinton regional airport using both contracted and military fixed wing aircraft. Period of Contract The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to June 30, 2019 inclusive with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 1 additional 1 year period under the sameconditions. The Work or a portion of the Work to be performed under the Contract will be on an "as and when requested basis" using a Task Authorization (TA).
