Trade Agreement: NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Pick and Carry Crane EZ108-180141/B Morton, Chris Telephone No. - (250) 580-1311 Purpose: The purpose of this requirement is to procure a new Pick and Carry Crane. The purchase requirement, is to upgrade our service capabilities to better serve our ship repair clients and at the same time, replace an aging Pick and Carry Crane that is currently in service at the Esquimalt Graving Dock. Mandatory Technical Criteria: Must be capable of Picking and Carrying a lift of 16 metric tonnes without the use of outriggers. Mobile Crane must comply with Canadian and British Columbian safety standards and regulations. Rear Axle - Power Steering/Oscillating. Front Axle(s) - Drive only - No front steering. Pneumatic rubber tires. Hydraulic Winch with Swivel hook block and headache ball (minimum load capacity for hook block 16 metric tonnes). Overall boom length must be minimum 8 metres. Electric and or Hydraulic powered controls. Must comply with CSA approved Safety Devices - Load Monitoring Indicators (LMI) - Anti-Two Block System. Enclosed Operator’s Cab with: - Cushioned Seat - Heater - Interior Lamp - Fuel gauge - Tachometer - Engine oil pressure gauge - Engine coolant temperature gauge Diesel-powered engine. Engineered Lifting Lugs (capable of being lifted by another crane) Electric system for travel on road with front lamps and rear lights. Parts Manual, Service Manual, and Operator Manuals along with Load Charts to be supplied in English.
