    NOTICE TO THE INDUSTRY
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
    Canada has a requirement for a commercially available Integrated
    Pharmacy Management and Electronic Medication Administration
    Record Software Solution in order to implement a standardized
    medication management system linking health units. 
    The Software Solution consists of the following two components:
    (1) A pharmacy management component which includes a
    standardized inventory management module; and, (2) An Electronic
    Medication Administration Record (eMAR) for the management of
    electronic documentation.
    
    Canada is presently soliciting feedback directly from selected
    vendors with respect to the matters described in the "Bid
    Solicitation # EN578-130093/B" published on November 15, 2012
    and which closed on February 9, 2013.   Suppliers that responded
    and/or that have software products that have successfully passed
    compliance testing of the CeRx Standards against a Drug
    Information System administered by at least one of the Canadian
    Provinces in accordance with the Canada Health Infoway
    Initiative and who would like to be invited to these sessions,
    must communicate in writing with the Contracting Authority named
    above prior to 5 p.m., February 28, 2013.
    The session will take place in person (face to face meeting) or
    through conference call. 
    Canada will not reimburse any respondent for expenses incurred
    in responding to this invitation.
    A list of potential bidders may be created as a result of this
    consultation.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
