Nature of Requirements: 

The Transport Canada Navigation Protection Program requires the services of a contractor to safely remove, salvage, transport, deconstruct, and dispose of the abandoned 55’ wooden tugboat named "R.B. Green" in Porpoise Bay on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia. The vessel is currently sunk and does not have engines. The Work must be completed by March 31, 2021.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority by e-mailing michal.szczesniak@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca no later than 7 calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to solicitation closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted bid. Bidders intending to submit bids should obtain solicitation documents from the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS) at http://BuyAndSell.gc.ca. Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Bidders basing their submissions on solicitation documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
