Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement


The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
the following resource categories: 

1.	Level 3 Enterprise Architect
2.	Level 2 Database Modeller / IM Modeller

This requirement is open only to bidders that are qualified Tier
2 Holders of a Task Based Informatics Professional Services
(TBIPS) Supply Arrangement. This bid solicitation is issued
against the (TBIPS) Supply Arrangements (SA) PWGSC file number
EN578-055605/E.  All terms and conditions of the SA apply &
shall be incorporated into any resulting contract.
		
Description of the requirement:

The DND and the Directorate Materiel Systems Plans Requirements
(DMSPR) Automatic Identification Technology  (AIT) Team
anticipates rolling out a multiphase project over several years.
The initial requirement is for professional services of one (1)
Level 3 Enterprise Architect and one (1) Level 2 Database
Modeller/IM Modeller from the Task Based Informatics
Professional Services (TBIPS) Supply Arrangement.  During the
initial phase the Enterprise Architect and Database Modeller /
IM Modeller will assist DND and the DMSPR AIT Team in shaping
requirements of anticipated upcoming solicitations. These
professional services will be initiated through Task
Authorizations (TAs) on an "as and when requested" basis.  The
Enterprise Architect must provide enterprise architectural
support and the Database Modeller / IM Modeller must provide
database modelling support for all AIT capability (Hardware,
Software, Host System Software, and Network) presently in use in
the DND as well as that contemplated for use.  


It is anticipated that a maximum of 1 contract will be awarded
for this requirement.

Enterprise Architect - Top Secret 
Database Modeller / IM Modeller - Secret


Proposed period of contract:

The proposed period of contract shall be for 2 years from the
date of contract award, with irrevocable options to extend the
contract period for up to 3 additional 1 year periods.
