Request for Information (RFI)

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is asking you to provide comments on a potential contract for provision of accommodation and food support services at the Canada Board Services Agency (CBSA) Regional Processing Center (RPC) in Lacolle Québec, but maybe also elsewhere in Canada. The Contractor will mainly be responsible for the operations of the site on behalf of CBSA. The RPC includes a file processing area, accommodations, rest and meal areas, a mini-clinic and an administrative segregation/quarantine.

The purpose of this RFI is to provide the industry with an early opportunity to assess and comment on the CBSA’s approach while reducing potential questions that may be asked when the Request for Proposal is posted. 

This is not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not result in the award of any contract. As a result potential suppliers of any goods or services described in this RFI should not reserve stock, or facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any information contained in this RFI. Nor will this RFI result in the creation of any source list. Therefore, whether or not any potential supplier responds to this RFI will not preclude that supplier from participating in any future procurement. Also, the procurement of any goods and services described in this RFI will not necessarily follow this RFI. This RFI is intended to solicit feedback from industry with respect to the matters described herein.

Response Costs: Canada will not reimburse any respondent for expenses incurred in responding to this RFI.
