Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement

This requirement is for:  Department of National Defence (DND)

DND has a requirement for the following streams of categories:

Workstream 1 - Development Services; and
Workstream 2 - Support Services.

The requirement for Workstream 1 - Development Services is open
only to those Supply Arrangement Holders currently holding a
TBIPS SA for Tier 2 in the National Capital Region under the
EN578-055605/E series of SAs for the following categories:

A.1 Application/Software Architect, Level 3;
A.7 Programmer/Analyst, Level 3;
A.7 Programmer/Analyst, Level 2;
A.7 Programmer/Analyst, Level 1; and
P.9 Project Manager, Level 3.

The requirement for Workstream 2 - Support Services is open only
to those Supply Arrangement Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA
for Tier 2 in the National Capital Region under the
EN578-055605/E series of SAs for the following categories:

A.11 Test, Level 3;
A.11 Test, Level 2;
B.11 Instructor IT, Level 3;
B.13 Operations Support Specialist, Level 2:
B.14 Technical Writer, Level 3;
I.2 Database Administrator, Level 3; and
P.11 Quality Assurance Specialist/Analyst, Level 3.

Description of the requirement:

The Director Human Resources Information Management (DHRIM), in
support of the Director Military Pay Accounts Processing (DMPAP)
and on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND) has a
requirement for informatics professional services divided into
two Workstreams, Development Services and Support Services, to
provide on-going application life cycle support to the Canadian
Armed Forces Central Compensation Pay & Pension System (CCPS).

It is anticipated that one contract for each Workstream will be
awarded to meet this requirement.

Proposed period of contract:

The contract period will be for two years from the date of
contract with an irrevocable option to extend the contract
period for up to three additional one-year periods.
