    Description of Work:
    
    Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) produces and collects vast amounts of information. This information is used to deliver programs and associated funding that support their partners, the Indigenous and Northern peoples of Canada. It is imperative that this information supports timely and accurate decisions by DIAND’s Sectors and Regions, which drives the need for well-managed information. There is a need to support DIAND’s Information Management (IM) services and related practices to explicitly acknowledge the value of this information, the importance of managing it within the department, and the benefits of treating it as a strategic asset. 
    
    It is intended to result in the award of one contract, for two years plus three one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contracts.

BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT "BUYANDSELL.GC.CA" IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS.  The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language.
