    AUDIT ON SEARCH AND RESCUE NEW INITIATIVE FUND (SAR NIF)
    
    This Request for proposal (RFP) is only for pre-qualified
    Suppliers for Workstream 8, Recipient/Contribution Agreement
    Audit against the Professional Audit Support Services (PASS)
    supply arrangement (E60ZG-060004).
    
    DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
    Therequirement is to obtain the services of audit professionals
    on behalf of the National Search and Rescue Secretariat to
    conduct an annual audit of the selected Search and Rescue New
    Initiatives Fund (SAR NIF) contribution program projects. The
    objective is to determine if due diligence was applied in the
    management of public funds, as defined in Annex A, Statement of
    Work 
    
    LOCATION OF WORK
    The work will take place at the supplier's location with travel
    required to Newfoundland. 
    
    DURATION OF CONTRACT
    The contract should be from date of contract award to March 31,
    2014 with two (2) irrevocable options granted by the contractor
    to extend the term of the contract by one additional year.
    
    EVALUATION PROCESS
    Mandatory criteria will be used to determine the technical
    merit. The basis of selection will be lowest evaluated price.

    The request for proposal closing date is on January 30th, 2014

    Holders who are being invited to bid on this requirement.
