    AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the SAP Business Network posting response closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. Unless specified otherwise in the tender opportunity, all required supporting documentation and responses must be submitted by the response deadline time of 14:00 EDT . All responses submitted after 14:00 EDT will result in the submission being declared non-responsive. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is looking to acquire and test biometrics FRT solutions (also known as “algorithms”) to evaluate technical performance compared to what is currently in use in the Canadian context. This ITQ is being issued to qualify respondents who possess the necessary qualifications identified in the ITQ document to participate in the subsequent procurement process. NOTE: This procurement is subject to the National Security Exceptions (NSE). The National Security Exceptions provided for in the trade agreements have been invoked to exempt the procurement processes related to Facial Recognition Technology solutions for the CBSA from the provisions of all of Canada’s trade agreements. Due to security requirements, the Respondent must be located in a country that is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) or the Five Eyes alliance.
