    Description
    This is a pre-qualification process. Specifications and drawings will be supplied to qualified companies in a subsequent Invitation to Tender process. Work under this contract involves enhancement of worker operational safety and efficiency at the Coldbrook Hatchery water control structure, located about five kilometers west of Kentville, Nova Scotia. Work under this project consists of but is not limited to the following:-Installation of downstream siltation protection and removal of siltation at the upstream face of the existing water control structure.- Water control structure deck and guards removals and replacements, including fabrication, supply and installation of new parts.- Fabrication, supply and installation of new spillway gates, fixed manual mechanical actuation equipment, and miscellaneous new supports.- Sluice gates inspections and supply and installation of new sluice gate mechanical actuation equipment and related miscellaneous components.- Fabrication, supply and installation of new steel and HDPE trash racks at the sluice gates as shown on the drawings. Included in this item is a structural steel brace to be installed under water.
