**This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number M0077-13-G638 dated 2014/02/05 with a closing of 2014/02/25 at 2pm. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation. ** The RCMP's Uniform and Equipment Program has a requirement for a firm quantity of 3200 Baseball caps. The breakdown of the firm quantity is as follows: 2200 Blue, 250 ERT Black, 50 Chaplain and 700 Cadet. Please see “Annex A – Requirement and Basis of Payment” of RFP for further Details. In addition, there are two optional quantities with up to 500 Baseball caps each. The first option can be exercised within 12 months of contract award and the second option can be exercised within 24 months of contract award. Finally, there is an "as and when requested" quantity of up to 10 made-to-measure Baseball caps (specials), which can be ordered within 24 months of contract award. All quantities are to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario. The firm quantity is requested to be delivered 45 days following approval of the pre-production sample. This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-181 dated 2013-12-06 and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP. The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample. This requirement is subject to AIT. This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. Government available material must be purchased for this requirement at the cost stated in the RFP document. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
