    Item Required:	Belts, Sam Browne and Accessories
    
    The RCMP's Uniform & Equipment Program has a requirement for Belts, Sam Browne and Accessories; There is a firm quantity of 1650 Belts, 1000 Handcuff Pouches, 250 Holsters, 2500 Double D Ring Loops, 500 X-Strap Removable Loops, 250 Double Mag Pouches and 1100 X-Straps.
    
    In addition there is an optional quantity for each of the following accessories: 500 Handcuff Pouches, 500 Holsters, 1500 Double D Ring Loops, 500 X-Strap Removable Loops, 500 Double Mag Pouches and 1000 X-Straps. 
    
    This requirement also includes, 1500 "as and when requested" Belts (Flexible Stock) and 25 "made to measure" Belts (Specials). Flexible stock and Specials can be exercised within 36 months of contract award
    
    All quantities are to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario. The firm quantity is requested to be delivered 45 days following approval of the pre-production sample.
     
    This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specifications G.S. 1045-123 dated 2014-05-02, and G.S. 1045-140 dated 2014-04-08 and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP.
    
    The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample.
    
    This requirement is subject to AIT.
    
    This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. 
    
    The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal.
    
    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. 
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. 
    
    The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements.  It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
