The Government of Canada, through Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD), is planning to complete a mid-life refit and space optimizations upgrade the High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya. The project consists of building a total of 4,600 m2 in a 3 storey Chancery Building with a sub-basement and a basement level including underground parking and service space on the Canadian Compound located on 25 Limuru Road in Nairobi, Kenya.
A detailed list of objectives to be completed under this project must be referenced from the Building Condition Report (BRC) however they are summarized as follows:
- Temporary Enabling Works and Swing Space
- Seismic Retrofit
- Window Hardening
- Space Optimization
- Façade and Roof Improvements
- Various Repairs Upgrades
- Mechanical / Electrical and Commissioning
- IT Infrastructure Upgrades
