WORK SITE LOCATION :
Gaspé Peninsula, Québec
DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK:
Work involves dredging five (5) fishing harbours located in the Gaspé Peninsula in the province of Quebec. The total quantity to be dredged for the five (5) harbors is about 8,500 tons. Dredging must be carried out by mechanical ground equipment (excavator with clamshell). Some of the sediment to be dredged will have to be transported to the Belledune landfill site in New Brunswick due to the presence of contaminants. The five (5) harbours to be dredged are:
- Port-Daniel East (Fishermen's Wharf);
- Saint-Godedfroi (Fishermen's Wharf);
- Bonaventure (Fishermen's Wharf);
- Newport Pointe (Fisherman's Wharf);
- L'Anse-à-Beaufils (Fisherman's Wharf).
EXPECTED START AND COMPLETION DATES:
The services of the Contractor will be commencing upon award of the contract. The expected completion date of this project is March 31st, 2017.
