    TITLE: Mersey River Bridge – Kejimkujik National Park

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    The proposed project is for the replacement of an aging timber bridge located within Kejimkujik National Park and Historic Site. The existing bridge is to be replaced with a single-span modular proprietary pony-truss steel bridge. The existing timber structure, including cribs and abutments, will be removed and disposed of in accordance with the attached specifications.

    March 20, 2017, at 1300 hrs (EST)

    Faxed submission will not be accepted.

    NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:

    Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
    Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.

    CONTRACT PERIOD:

    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by December 22, 2017 from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

    Please note that mobilization to the site will not be possible until July 1st, 2017 due to species at risk in accordance with Section 01 35 43, Environmental Procedures.
