    DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK

    Please reference the “Specifications” within this invitation to tender.

    FIVE [5] LOCATIONS NEAR NORTH BAY, ON

    .1Description of Work

    .1Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to:

    .1Mobilize to site with a work barge of appropriate size and certification;

    .2Install five [5] new foundations;

    .1Three [3] of the above shall be as per the supplied designs in this Contract; and,

    .2The other Two [2] shall be adequately designed by the Contractor.

    .3Install five [5] new CCG supplied aid to navigation towers;

    .4Demolish and dispose five [5] existing foundations;

    .5Return the existing five [5] aids to navigation c/w all lighting equipment to CCG’s Parry Sound base; and,

    .6Demobilize.

    .2The following work will be undertaken by others and is hereby excluded:

    .1Supply of five [5] new aid to navigation towers with self-contained lanterns.

    FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE

    Before submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense, to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply.

    Expected Start and Completion Dates

    The services of the Contractor will be commencing on award of the contract. The expected completion date of this project is October 31, 2017.
