    Residences #1&2 – Roof Travel Restraint System Upgrades, Ottawa, Ontario

    Project concerns the upgrades to the existing travel restraint system which is used to access the seventeen (17) different roof areas at the buildings of Residences #1&2 located in Ottawa, Ontario. Work includes the installation and supply of a roof access hatch, several roof-mounted and wall-mounted anchors, several horizontal lifelines, incline static line, the modification of guardrails to include access gates, de-commissioning of existing roof anchors, the related structural connection work to roofs and attics/walls, as well as the reinstatement of all walls and ceilings finishes and the repairs to roof assemblies, all to match existing original conditions.

    A MANDATORY site visit for Bidders will be held on Tuesday July 4th, 2017 at 10am EDT. All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit. To confirm your attendance at the site visit and to gain access to the grounds, please communicate with NCC Corporate Security at 613-239-5222 or securityscreening@ncc-ccn.ca at least 24 hours prior to the site visit. Please note that all visits to sensitive sites shall be coordinated with, and approved by NCC Corporate Security. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet. Tenders submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted
