Parks Canada Agency (PCA) has a requirement for Pukaskwa National Park Road Reconstruction Project at Pukaskwa National Park.
Work of this project comprises of the reconstruction for Pukaskwa Entrance Road, North and South Campground Loops, and entrances and parking lots for administration building and visitors centre within Pukaskwa National Park, near Heron Bay, Ontario.
The work for this project includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Excavation in earth and rock for pavement widenings, grading, paving and minor drainage.
- Pavement of road and parking lot surfaces.
- Trenching in earth and rock for sanitary sewers, manholes and force mains.
- Sanitary sewer and manholes installation.
- Force main replacement.
- Pump replacement.
- Electrical, internet conduit and site partial illumination.
- Landscaping (optional), and
- Other Related Work.
The work covered under this project consists of furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment hardware and materials compliant in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions contained therein.
Proponents shall be licensed to practice in the province of Ontario.
BIDDER’S CONFERENCE
A bidders' conference will be held at Pukaskwa National Park, Administration building, Hwy 627, Heron Bay, ON. P0T 1R0, on October 05, 2017 (Thursday) at 01:00 pm EDT.
Bid Security is required.
Contractors must have at minimum $5,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Coverage.
Delivery Date: Construction must be completed by November 30, 2019.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than seven (7) working days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in French and in English.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
