WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

1. Work of this Contract comprises general construction of Accessibility Upgrades to the Torrent River Fishway Observation Chamber, located at Hawke's Bay, NL and further identified as Newlab Engineering Limited Project # 2017-40.
2. Work included in this Contract generally comprises of minor interior demolition and installation of an inclined wheelchair lift and automatic door operator.
3. Work covered by the contract documents includes Commissioning of the facility including arranging final inspection and certification by Service Nl and engagement of third party structural engineer for verification of equipment structural support.
4. Substantial Completion date is March 31, 2108 requiring utilization of Winter requirements. See Section 01 00 50 - General Instructions, article 1.6.

CONTRACTOR USE OF PREMISES

1. Contractor has unrestricted use of site.
2. Coordinate use of premises under direction of Owner’s Representative.
3. Obtain and pay for use of additional storage or work areas needed for operations under this Contract.
4. Remove or alter existing work to prevent injury or damage to portions of existing work which remain.
5. Repair or replace portions of existing work which have been altered during construction operations to match existing or adjoining work, as directed by Owner’s Representative.
