Description: The RCMP requires Architectural and Engineering services for the construction of a 2+1+1 detachment facilities to meet identified program requirements in the Northwest Territories.

There is an operational requirement for two (2) new RCMP detachment facilities to be constructed in the communities of Tulita, and Whati. Lutsel K’e, has an operational requirement for a new detachment, however the site requires significant preparation before a new building can be constructed. Funding has not been approved for this location. A separate Add-Alternate price is requested for this location. Deline has an operational requirement for a new detachment, however, the project in Deline is currently not funded. A separate Add-Alternate price is requested for this location.

The period of the contract is five (5) years from date of contract award. The Consultant grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the contract under the same conditions and by multiple option periods to align with the completion of the separate but corresponding construction contract including warranty periods. The Consultant grants to Canada the irrevocable option to include the Architectural and/or Engineering Services for Lutsel K’e and Deline, NT under the same conditions.

There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
