Slipway Construction and Breakwater Repair, Ile d’Entrée, Iles-de-la-Madeleine

Scope of Work/Deliverables:

The Slipway Construction and Breakwater repair at the fishing harbour of l’Ile d’Entrée in the Magdalen Islands region includes, without limitation, the following work:

1. The complete demolition of existing hauling slip and disposal of demolition material (treated wood, bolt products, etc…)

2. Partial demolition of breakwater and recovery of granular materials and existing stone to be reintroduced into new structures.

3. Supply and installation of imported stone, recovery and placement of existing stone and dolosse from partial demolition and placement of dolosse provided by DFO to repair existing breakwater.

4. Dolosse supplied by DFO are stored closed to the spur breakwater.

5. The supply and placement of geotextile and granular materials for the construction of the granular foundation of the slipway.

6. The installation of precast concrete slabs provided by DFO for the construction of the slipway.

7. The relocation of the floating dock line with chains recovery, manufacture and installation of anchor blocks for its eastward displacement of approximately 12 meters.

8. Dredging inside harbour in the new area of the floating docks system

9. Length modification of the existing aluminum gangway

    

   Work site location: Fishing Harbour of Ile d’Entrée – Magdalen Islands

   Project Timelines:

   The services of the Contractor will be commencing on award of the Contract. The work must be completed on or before September 30^th, 2020.
