REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada Agency requires a contractor to enhance the existing trail wear surface (making it accessible to a wider range of users) and to correct existing erosion issues of the trail network around the Prince of Wales Hotel (including the lookout area to reduce further erosion).
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $ 5,000,000, Taxes extra.

The maximum email file size that Parks Canada is capable of receiving is 25 megabytes. Period of Contract / DELIVERY DATE
Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than August 31, 2021.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be an optional site visit on July 20, 2020 at 9:00 AM MDT. Interested bidders are to meet at the Linnet Lake Parking Lot in Waterton, AB. Please be advised that there will be a limit of two (2) representatives per bidder attending the site visit. Bidders are requested to RSVP to the contracting authority by July 19, 2020 at 12:00 PM MDT. Should there be sufficient interest in site visit attendance, Parks Canada may assign time slots to bidders in an effort to maintain social distancing protocols.
In accordance with provincial health regulations, interested bidders must be symptom free and observe social distancing from others on site. Face masks and gloves are recommended. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the optional site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
INFORMATION:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
