Pay Equity Consultant

Description of the Requirement:

Parks Canada Agency requires a Pay Equity Consultant to help the Pay Equity Team and the Pay Equity Committee to develop a Pay Equity Plan for Parks Canada and its employees, in order to eliminate any wage gaps between wages earned by men and those earned by women. Therefore, complying with the Pay Equity Act that will come in effect early 2021. The Pay Equity Consultant will work closely with the Pay Equity Team to prepare the Committee for their roles and responsibilities as well as acting as a mentor for the Pay Equity Team. The Consultant will provide tools and resources and share his expert knowledge and experience with the Pay Equity Team to build internal capacity for the years to come. The resource will guide the Agency in interpreting the Pay Equity Act and will help the Agency to position itself amongst other separate agencies and the core public sector.

This contract contains security requirements.

Proposed period of contract:

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award to January 31, 2022 inclusive with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions.

Estimated Level of Effort:

The estimated level of effort of the contract will be for 40 days per year.
