TITLE: SAR Tech Medical Training Program
GSIN: U010P: Certification and Accreditation – Emergent Care Training
This requirement is for the Department of National Defence (DND).
Number of Contracts:
This bid solicitation is intended to result in the award one (1) contract for two (2) years, plus two (2) two-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the Contract.
Requirement:
The Department of National Defence has a requirement to provide on-going medical training to new and existing Search and Rescue Technicians. The work is including, but not limited to, the following: develop and present medical training programs for new RCAF SAR Techs based off paramedic training curriculums; develop and present on-going medical training for existing SAR Techs on an annual basis; provide course material to all participants; administer tests, practicums and simulation testing to all participants; assist in the scheduling of in-car and on-site training.
Security Requirement:
There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.
For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.
Location of Work:
The location of work is as follows:
- Pre-study and classroom phases: Lazo, BC; and,
- Simulation Phase: Larger City Settings (ex: Vancouver, BC).
