    Description

    The National Capital Commission (NCC) is proceeding with a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of Maintenance Management Services for Core Lands. The maps included with this RFP clearly present the boundaries of the Contract with respect to the location where the Work is to be performed. Core Lands Contract Sites are:

    13. Mackenzie King Bridge Triangle and Terrace
    14. Queen Elizabeth Drive North of Laurier
    15. Confederation Park
    16. Parliament Hill Pathway
    17. Richmond Landing
    18. Garden of the Provinces
    19. Sparks Street Lookout
    20. Portage Bridge Park
    21. Canadian Firefighters Memorial
    22. Pindigen Park

    Enquiries regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority as early as possible within the solicitation period. Enquiries should be received no later than ten (10) business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow enough time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to Bidders, the Contracting Authority shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this tender sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed only to the Contracting Authority. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proposal

    CONTRACT TERM: This RFP contemplates entering into a Contract having a Term of five (5) consecutive years beginning April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2027. By mutual consent, the NCC and the Contractor may exercise one (1) successive five (5) year option at the same terms and conditions. Each option Year will have an inflationary increase of +2.0% from the previous Year’s fees

    This procurement is subject to Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) but considered excluded coverage and exempt from the Agreement on Government Procurement - World Trade Organization etc,
