    Description

    The objective of this solicitation is acquire the services of qualified instructors to deliver the following the following Transport Canada approved courses:

    1. STCW Basic Safety and STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft Other Than Fast Rescue Craft training to the Canadian Coast Guard College to an estimated 48 students in English per year (normally in July)
    2. STCW Basic Safety and STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft Other Than Fast Rescue Craft training to the Canadian Coast Guard College to an estimated 48 students in French per year (normally in July)
    3. STCW Advanced Fire Fighting training to the Canadian Coast Guard College to an estimated 48 students in English per year (normally in the fall)
    4. STCW Advanced Fire Fighting training to the Canadian Coast Guard College to an estimated 48 students in French per year (normally in the fall)

    The Contractor must deliver the following course(s). Up to 4 contracts in total may be awarded, one for each course, as each course is required in English and French.

    1. STCW Basic Safety and STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft Other Than Fast Rescue Craft to candidates enrolled in the CCGOTP. The training must meet the current requirements set out in Standards of Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW 95), Table A- VI/1- 1, 1-2 and 1-4 and Table A-VI (2-1) and the course must be approved by Transport Canada. The Contractor must deliver the most current version of the training course and material for this training certification. Previous versions will not be accepted.
    2. STCW Advanced Fire Fighting to candidates enrolled in the CCGOTP. The training must meet the current requirements set out in Standards of Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW 95), Table A-VI/3 and the course must be approved by Transport Canada. The Contractor must deliver the most current version of the training course and material for this training certification. Previous versions will not be accepted.

    The period of any resulting contract is from date of contract to twelve (12) months thereafter. There is also an irrevocable option to extend the term of any resulting contract by up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods under the same conditions.

    There is no security requirement associated to this requirement.
